a super fun ole miss alum Chenoa contacted me about doing some frames for her chic mod baby boy nursery. we wanted to use the color in his Missoni zigzag bedding and his walls were grey, so we went with Man Cave from Valspar and a Orange from them as well (I'm drawing a blank on the name!) she wanted a rectangle shaped group with 6 -8x10 frames and we wanted all different looks: mod and boyish. well her taste is amazing and we saw a cake idea on Pinterest that made us think to do the multi color chevron and its my personal fav! enjoy and feel free to "pin" away!

Oh and side note of complete and utter excitement!!!!! I was contacted by a producer from the Nate Berkus Show this past week to feature a frame of mine in an upcoming segment on distressed furniture and accents. ok after i passed out and hyperventilated front the sheer shock i said yes....the frame had to be overnighted and ready for the taping today! well they got the 1st one on Monday and it was a little too large for the sofa table so i had to make another one and overnight it ASAP...whewww...sweat was dripping off my brow as i left fedex on Tuesday and just held my breath until I heard from Lori today and it went off with out a hitch! It will air sometime in May and I will keep y'all up to date as soon as i know an air date! I can't wait to see it. They asked for a description of my distressing process and will detail about that on the show as well.....eeekkkkkk.....squeeellllll!

ok so a client came to me with a fun idea, she had that long skinny wall in a coner turn in her hall we all have ....it is just there ....you wonder what to do with it...but its a weird space? ok so we made it a spot to really make the hallway...we created a 5 opening 10x10 frame 71" long it runs floor to ceiling with a black and white photo up close of her children's faces! i love the idea and have to admit she found it online and we adapted it delta girl style...$265

ok so im a tad obsessed with ikat prints and patterns these days and i am one that can not totally commit to wallpaper {even though im dying too} i decided to find a fabulous wallpaper stencil and make ikat my way...on a frame of course. Ikat pillows are also a way to bring in the fabulous print into your home with out a total commitment of all over. sometimes just a dab will do ya....I was commissioned by the memphis area march of dimes for a donation frame and i thought perfect opportunity to give it a whirl. so here it is in light grey with elephant ear tones and crown trim. I used 8" hard wood to give it more space for pattern and the wide trim to really make the photo pop...cant you just see a black and white one in there? any-whoo...hope you enjoy! 8x8 opening 23x23 overall $150

i just finished a grouping of 15...yes i said 1 5 ...this was an undertaking but super fun and really gave me a chance to show almost every frame in my bag ;) we did 5 solids and used espresso and vintage white as the main colors and a pop of gold and rustic red for accents all with antique glazing to give it the extra vintage weathered feel. this will start at her hand rail and work their way up to her 1st landing. what a creative way to really showcase your photos with added art in the mix. *stairwell grouping of frames are all custom made to match your home,fabric or paint colors, email me for any special request...enjoy!

well as you know i have been introducing new patterns pretty regular these days and i c a n n o t wait for the next one....ikat! i will be doing one for my study so ill be posting a pic soon, but in the meantime clover has been on my mind and since i painted that very pattern on my own frames i wanted to share what inspired the stencil. I saw this vase at T.J. Maxx of all places and i just loved the pattern ....so i searched high and low to find it in a stencil so that I could make that come to life on a frame....and wah-la! this is a new color combo....ivory white on chocolate with french blue colonial trim...

a etsy customer came to me after seeing the Sherwin Williams Rain set I had done and wanted that as a starting point but wanted to add more asymmetry with a few square frames and pattern. She has a space above her couch that was pretty large and wanted a substantial group to start her gallery and add to it over the years. She had a lot of taupes,chocolates and a pop of aqua in her room and rug, so we wanted that in 4 of the frames. here is the finished product, cheers!

what a fabulous time i had on vacation with my family :) It reminded me how fast my two boys are growing up and how i need to do better at sticking to a tighter work schedule. I am going to be making a couple changes in office hours {see below} i will answer all emails within 48 hours and on weekends im going to try to check in at least once a day but no promises, but 1st thing Monday i will get back to you!

ok so i was contacted last week by a sweet sweet bride that wanted table frames at her wedding reception. Instead of the old boring "table 13" she wanted to have fun saying's in the frames like "love" "romance" etc..... you get the idea :). oh i just think these neutral frames look romantic, probably because i know gorgeous wedding photos will be in them. These for done for a new bride for her wedding portraits above their bed. I just love the Sherwin William smokey topaz on cream. Also another great idea she had was to have matching cream matte cut for 5x7 photo in the frames so she has an option to do the 8x10 opening or 5x7, how clever right?!

a great customer Sarah wanted something to showcase her two kiddies ( and one on the way) but she wanted them to be coastal and really match her decor, so she sent me pics of her accent pillows and i went to work! We did the circle link, palm leaf and starfish patterns all free hand painted and had a large 16x20 frame made in a nautical stripes all accented with a rope trim to really give it a uber coastal look! I just could not decide which was my fav. Enjoy!

this open back frame was made for a photographer i work with and was for a family portrait canvas. it is 24x36 opening with 4" on each side.
