sneak peak of website shoots!

well as you know I'm working hard at launching the delta girl frames website in january and i just had to share some of the shots from the stairwell shoot and nursery shoot {nursery/studio shots courtesy of kristen reed photography } who BTW just did our family photos so ill brag and add one at the end of this post ;)

a new idea...

ok so a long time customer of mine had an idea for her little ones artwork…traditionally i do chalk boards and cork boards but we thought what a cute idea it would be if I did a long frame with 4 wires across to use painted clothes pins to display the art. we did them about 10.5" inches apart which is typical for your pre K and kindergarten art projects! I just had to share how it turned out! xoxo This was added to etsy last week! and i attached some adorable clothes pins from etsy! HOW STINKIN CUTE!? Or even just spray paint maybe some yourself solid?

pastel love

hi yall! scoop alert:  for the website I am collaborating with a couple of photographers... I am doing gallery walls.....and gallery walls..... CANT WAIT.....I am Blessed enough to have kristen reed photography to sign on: host a tip page and showcase her studio gallery wall of itty bittys { newborns } in these pastel {love} frames. Mint and coral with Notre Dame by Valspar with hints of vintage wash.....here is a mini sneak peak!

spanish style home gallery

well you know i love nothing more than working with previous clients and Catherine and I have done a few together. This was to be our 1st wall grouping of frames. She had these amazing spanish panels that hung on the stairwell side of her foyer and she wanted frames to be symmetrical and to accent the wall adjacent to the panels. Each section of her foyer had rounded ceiling cutouts and arched doorways to further the spanish look. She wanted to tie in the wall color Sherwin Williams Sweet Caramel. It is the most beautiful coral...just FYI. We has espresso and blue in the panels and so we wanted to pull those hues as well. We could NOT be happier!!! 
ALSO this is the official B L O G debut of two " brand " spakin' new patterns! The spanish tile and the medallion lace. The medallion lace is below and the spanish tile is the other blue frame in the collection. ENJOY!

more pink and grey nurseries!

well as you know i have two boys so i haven't stayed on top of the baby girl nursery trend department as well as i should, but obviously the {T R E N D } is pink and grey color schemes. I had three pink and grey nursery frames this week alone and i thought I would share the ideas for any expectant moms!

so delta girl is going B I G time viral! the new delta girl website is in the works as we speak...had new head shots taken a few weeks ago for it! you will be able to customize your frame with such ease with drop down boxes and even a "delta girls choice" option for fun. The website will house all my frames and keep you up to date on all my latest projects and happenings....more to come...stay tuned my loves....

soft and subtle

wellllll HELLO again....This delta girl has been packing and unpacking and finally settled in the big city of Nashville, TN! We are so excited to be here and I feel big things are in the works for Delta Girl. Sorry I have been MIA but end of school activities and then the move took it out of me. My new shop will... and is as i type {literally}being built in my back yard. Ill post pics when it is done. Going to be a perfect lil' spot for me. Well before the big move i feel soft and subtle and tone and tone have been on trend and i can feel that in the work I have recently been working on. Distressed Picture frames are my passion and i have a sneak peak of maybe another "passion" coming down the pipe line....see pics below! More info to come!  First of all you cant beat a shabby chic vibe in a nursery and pink and grey are just the way to do it!

Second is WALL PAPER.....ITS BACCCCKKKK .... so i made my poplar vintage neutrals to blend with this wall paper swatch and i am obsessed with the tone on tone look and how subtle.. yet frilly they turned out. Love to hear your thoughts! They are just listed on etsy....

ALSO ....NEW trims....I am 4 years in and just sick of looking at the ones i have so ALL news one below. Any frame you purchase on etsy will be replaced with one of these new fun fab trims.
