Welcome to Delta Girl Distressing BLOG! My name is Sarah Ella Cole, wife to Roger, mom to two sweet boys, Airey and Campbell, and CEO of Delta Girl Frames. I’m a Mississippi Delta girl born and raised. I was a stay at home mom and craved an outlet for my creative side to express my roots. Delta Girl Frames was established in 2009 when I needed to frame some pictures in my home. With a little luck from The Man upstairs and a few months of trial and error, I fashioned frames that would represent my style. A rustic tone coupled with a ‘Southern Belle’ twist of patterns. My vision was born, to create a frame that likens a fabulous throw pillow and the perfect way to add a pop of color or pattern to any room. In 2012, I was commissioned by The Nate Berkus Show to do a hand painted, distressed chevron frame. That experience affirmed my vision and intuition that there was a market for my product.
