a lil holiday tour...

Well I have a new little adventure these days( in addition to DGF of course) ….I have started an instagram account @diypinner to show y'all a lot of my favorite Pinterest Pins. I handmade these stocking and stamped them with each family members first Initial. Driftwood Garland T.J. Maxx ($9) another FAV. Mix real tree trimmings with fake picks of red berries. I never promote the FAKE but the berries go bad…..The bell garland stand is also from T.J. Maxx

Use ornaments as decor. I mixed in fresh tree trimmings with 3 large Wooden star ornaments. and McCarty of course…that is any Delta Girl's TRUE staple.

Write on EVERYTHING with chalkboard paint! I'm OBSESSED

These are my stenciled stairs I designed in tempe star by sherwin williams. Fresh pine garland. I hand cut a pallet down in the shape of a tree, painted each plank a metallic, and pinned some twine ornaments for a cute fireplace look.

Jacqueline Jo Photography was kind enough to share her beautiful family with Delta Girl for a new display in the studio! I am obsessed with this shoot and the COLORS…..and that IVY. This set is a great example of how to plan a wall before your shoot. PLAN your wardrobe around a few colors in your home where the photos will be displayed and then I can make the frames to flow perfectly with the photography. THIS is a gallery wall! Seriously who doesn't dream of having a beach house or boathouse one day??? Well if you know me it is my happy place! So i have always wanted a nautical themed room or something to that effect…well i wanted to have Marla and Shane Photography in Rosemary Beach Florida take our family pics on our beach trip this year and guess what???? It finally happened. I got my beach stairwell and room! Here are the shots of the stairs …. COME ON…my boys are pretty dang cute too right???
